FedRAMP High IAL3: a platform license plus a fee per IAL3 session

Primary path for regulated, federal, and high-volume deployments

Enterprise IAL3 is priced as a platform license fee plus a fee for each completed IAL3 session. Each session fee covers the controlled kit, two-way shipping, the attended session with a trained Trust Swiftly agent, and the signed evidence package. The authenticator, such as a hardware security key, is priced separately. No station lease, no travel stipends, and adaptive KYC and KYE checks on the same plan. See NIST IAL3 identity proofing and where IAL3 Kits ship.

"Rep. quickly helped us, walked us through how to fool-proof our IAL 3 Identity Check for the auditors and gave us a great deal. This company as compared to others was cheaper, catered to our needs and had a more personal touch with hands on experience even on the audit side." Plans and billing

Can I start without talking to sales?

Self-serve plans need an approval first. Request one through our contact form; your account activates as soon as it is approved, and you can then configure your first verification workflow yourself.

How much does NIST IAL3 identity proofing cost?

It depends on how many people need IAL3, where they work, and how often they need re-proofing. Enterprise IAL3 is priced as a platform license fee plus a fee for each completed IAL3 session, and each session fee includes the controlled kit, two-way shipping, the attended session with a trained Trust Swiftly agent, and the signed evidence package. The authenticator is priced separately, volume tiers apply, and there is no station lease or travel stipend.

What does an IAL3 pilot include?

A scoped pilot ships IAL3 Kits to a small group of your users, runs attended NIST SP 800-63A-4 IAL3 sessions, and delivers evidence packages your security team and assessor can review before full rollout. Pilots are scoped within one business day.

Which plan do I need for IAL3 or FedRAMP High workloads?

High-assurance NIST SP 800-63A-4 IAL3 proofing, attended sessions on Trust Swiftly kits, and deployments built for FedRAMP High (Class D) run on the Enterprise plan. Talk to our team to scope an IAL3 pilot.

Can I mix low-friction checks with step-up verification?

Yes. Every plan supports adaptive workflows: route low-risk users through fast checks and escalate only high-risk users to stronger methods, so you do not pay for maximum assurance on every verification.

What counts as a verification?

A verification is a single completed check on a user. If a user performs multiple checks in one session, such as email plus an ID scan, it counts based on the plan allowance. Contact us for the definition that applies to each plan.

Is there a setup fee?

No. There are no implementation or setup fees for the self-serve plans. You can start verifying users as soon as your account is approved.

Are plans billed monthly or annually?

Annually. Self-serve plans are 12-month subscriptions billed upfront, and the prices above are shown as monthly equivalents. Usage is billed monthly. Plans renew each year unless you cancel renewal before your term ends. Enterprise volume pricing is quoted separately.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Contact support to upgrade during your annual term, or move to Enterprise when you need IAL3. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.

How do I get a custom quote for high volume?

Contact us with your expected monthly volume and required verification methods. We will map the right plan and volume pricing within one business day.

Enterprise buying questions

Do you work under an MSA and a DPA?

Yes. Enterprise agreements run under an MSA and a DPA, and we review them up front, alongside scoping.

Can we pay by purchase order and invoice?

Yes. Enterprise plans are invoiced, and invoices can reference your purchase order.

Can we buy through a government contract vehicle?

Yes. Besides direct purchase, Trust Swiftly is available through established government contract vehicles, including GSA Schedule, NASA SEWP and ITES-SW2. See federal identity proofing.

Can our security team review your SOC 2 report?

Yes. Request the SOC 2 Type II report through our security portal, where it is shared under NDA. We also answer security questionnaires during procurement review. Buying paths and company data are on our security and procurement page.

Do you support re-verification?

Yes. Re-proofing for account recovery, privilege changes and other high-risk events runs on the same platform, so you are not limited to a one-time proofing decision.

How long does an IAL3 rollout take, from first call to evidence?

A specialist scopes your rollout within one business day. Each IAL3 Kit then ships to the user's approved office or home, the user picks a session time, and the attended session typically takes 3 to 10 minutes. Every completed session produces a signed evidence package, and the kit goes back on a prepaid label. Need someone started today? Run the IAL2 pathway now, at its own lower assurance level, and complete IAL3 when the kit arrives.

What if a user misses their IAL3 session?

They pick a new time in the Trust Swiftly user portal and can reschedule without involving HR or security. A trained agent attends whichever session they choose.
