Gartner Peer Insights

“They sent IAL 3 Identity packages to our homes. We didn’t have to drive 4 hours to stand in front of a kiosk for 10 minutes.”

Rural and remote employees

No road trip to a proofing counter

Fixed proofing sites cluster in metro areas, and in a large state the nearest one can be hours away. The kit travels to the employee instead.

  1. STEP 1

The kit ships to the door

A controlled, pre-configured proofing kit arrives by tracked carrier at the employee's home or office, anywhere in the 50 states.

  2. STEP 2

    A trained agent attends

The live NIST SP 800-63A-4 IAL3 session runs on the kit's integrated sensors: an NFC chip read of the passport or other chip-enabled ID, a biometric comparison and a signed evidence package.

  3. STEP 3

Send it back, or we pick it up

The kit returns on a prepaid label, or courier pickup collects it after the session for an additional fee. Every kit is inspected before it ships again.

Logistics

Coverage and logistics questions

How does the kit reach the employee?

We ship the controlled kit by tracked carrier directly to the employee's home or office, rural addresses included. Delivery takes days, not the weeks it takes to schedule travel to a proofing site.

Who schedules the session?

The employee picks a session time in the Trust Swiftly user portal and can reschedule without involving HR or security. A trained agent attends live over video.

How does the kit come back?

The employee applies the prepaid return label and drops the kit off. Courier pickup can be added for an additional fee. Every kit is physically inspected and re-provisioned before it ships to the next person.

What ID does the employee need?

A passport is the most direct path, because the kit reads its chip. Employees without one can use an alternative evidence combination, such as a REAL ID driver's license with secondary strong evidence like a permanent resident card.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes. The Worldwide map lists 32 countries, counting the United States: Canada and 30 countries across Europe. Ask us about any country that is not listed.

Can someone start before the kit arrives?

Yes. Urgent hires can run an IAL2 pathway in parallel, at its own lower assurance level, and complete IAL3 when the kit arrives. Both run on the same Trust Swiftly platform.
